Committee details

The Electoral Review Panel is made up of 7 councillors: four from the majority party and three from the opposition.

Its purpose is to consider and review the arrangements relating to the conduct of elections in the borough including:

·       Agreeing and reviewing the arrangements for polling districts and polling places.

·       Considering reports on the conduct of elections.

·       Considering reports on the administration of the register of electors and the absent voting process. 

·       Responding to consultations from the Electoral Commission and other bodies on all aspects of the electoral process.
