Issue - meetings

Councillor Claire Stewart moved and Councillor Vince seconded a proposal under paragraph 4.2 of the Council procedure rules to change the order of items on the agenda so that Motion 2 under Item 13 Motions should be taken as the next item of business. 

This was agreed unanimously.

Councillor Claire Stewart moved and Councillor Caliskan seconded a proposal under paragraph 4.2 of the Council procedure rules to change the order of items on the agenda so that Motion 9 under Item 12 motions should be taken as the next item of business.  This would be followed by Motions 10,4,6 and 7. 

This was agreed after a vote with the following result:

For: 41

Against: 17

Abstentions: 4

Councillor Glynis Vince moved and Councillor Laban seconded a proposal under paragraph 4.2 of the Council procedure rules to propose that the time allowed for reports be extended.

This was not agreed. 

Councillor Nesil Caliskan moved and Councillor Greer seconded a proposal under paragraph 4.2 of the Council procedure rules to change the order of items on the agenda so that Motion 9 under Item 12 motions should be taken as the next item of business.

It was proposed that motions should be taken as the next item of business in the following order: 16.13, 16.6, 16.12

Councillor Stewart moved and Councillor Achilleas Georgiou seconded a proposal under paragraph 2.2(B) of the Council procedure rules to change the order of items on the agenda to take the motions in the following order:  13.2, 13.3, 13,9, 13.4 followed by the order on the agenda. 

The change in the order was agreed, without a vote.
