To receive the report of the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development presenting the Council’s Statutory Pay Policy Statement for consideration and approval.
Members are asked to note that the Pay Policy Statement was considered and approved for recommendation onto Council by the Staff Appeals, Appointments and Remuneration Committee on 11 January 2021.

RECIEVED the report of the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development on the review and adoption of the Council’s statutory pay policy statement.
NOTED that the report was considered and approved for recommendation onto Council by the Staff Appeals, Appointments and Renumeration Committee on 11 January 2021.
AGREED the amendments to the statutory pay policy statement as included in appendix 1 to the report.
Councillor Barry, Leader of the Community First Opposition Group, indicated that if there had been a vote on this item four of her members would have voted against and one would have abstained.
