· To scrutinise service provision, policies
and strategies of the Council, local health services, and the
police, including, but not limited to, Health, Public health, Adult
social care, Adults Safeguarding, Mental Health, Acute services,
Primary Care, emergency services, Crime and Community Safety.
· Respond to consultations by NHS
bodies.
· Receive notifications from the NHS bodies
in relation to proposals for substantial variations to service
provision.
· To drive improvement and provide
constructive challenge.
· To represent the voices and concerns of
residents and users of services.
