· To scrutinise service provision,
policies, and strategies as they impact on children and young
people in the borough, including, but not limited to
Children’s Services, Education, Safeguarding, School places,
Youth Services, Special Education Needs, Looked after Children, and
School meals.
· To promote the participation, engagement
and influence of children and young people in the services which
affect them.
· To receive the monitoring and progress
reports as they relate to children and young people in the
borough.
· To drive improvement and provide
constructive challenge.
· To represent the voices and concerns of
residents and users of services.
