Thank you for submitting your petition seeking a controlled parking
zone (CPZ) in Grove Road West. The traffic team is pleased to
confirm, by the enclosed analysis, that the petition is successful
in demonstrating majority support within Grove Road West for zonal
parking controls.
The Council already has a significant list of parking schemes to
take forward in the current financial year, 2018/19, relative to
identified funding. These are typically streets from where
successful petitions were received in the previous year.
Accordingly it is most likely that we will not be able to proceed
with our own consultation for your street until next year; i.e.
until after March 2019. However, we will seek to advance schemes
more quickly where others drop out or any surplus funding is
identified.
