In response to residents’ on-going concerns about traffic in
Warwick Road and the Council’s decision not to proceed with
the proposed right turn ban, we took advantage of the road closure
that was in place due to sewer works earlier this year to carry out
more surveys. This has provided us with data on the effects of this
closure on traffic on surrounding roads. We are currently analysing
the results of this survey and once we are finished we will report
our findings to the Cabinet Member for Environment for his
consideration.”
