The response was sent to the lead petitioner on the 18th January
as follows:
The Council will be contacting the 14 garage owners of the New
River Crescent Garages to consult on the proposed options to secure
the entrance to the site. We will also obtain some quotes for the
work to secure the garage site. If all the owner’s consent
and pay their reasonable proportion of the costs of the work, then
the Council will appoint a contractor to secure and provide the
owners of the garages with a key.
