Thank you for your petition in which you highlight your concerns
about a lack of car parking space for potential shoppers in Market
Parade, N9 due to this space being occupied all day by commuters.
You request free 2 hour parking controls. You also suggest cycle
parking facilities.
We see merit in the suggestions and will consider options for new parking controls with a view to freeing up parking space for customers. However please note that this would first require a consultation exercise with the adjacent traders as well as residents. Note also that the eventual work is subject to funding being identified and, due to a large number of other schemes, is unlikely to be progressed as part of this years’ programme.
