KD 3872 Procurement of Local Government Pension Software

The Council’s Administering Authority currently uses an IT System called Axise supplied and supported by Heywood, an external provider to administer the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).

 

From 1st January 2015 the current contract with Heywood will expire and the Axise platform decommissioned.    Heywood are moving software platforms from Axise to Altair in order to provide sophisticated functionality required by Administrating Authorities to deal with the significant changes to the LPGS as it moves from a final salary scheme to a career average scheme.

 

It is intended to call off from the Sprint ii Framework for this requirement. By using an existing framework this will ensure a compliant and robust procurement process.
