The decision was taken in October 2019 to enter into
a service level agreement with Libraries Connected, to provide
support to visa applicants in completing and submitting their
applications in London Borough of Enfield hub libraries for a six
months pilot period.
The pilot project has been successful and provided an accessible
and convenient service for the residents and generated the
projected level of income.
The service aligns with Enfield libraries strategic priorities of
broadening the library services to reach more people, becoming more
enterprising and innovative, and making a difference to the lives
of residents.
Our estimate is that there is sufficient demand to generate
£301,512 net income annually.
This is a low risk project/contract, which requires no capital
investment from the London Borough of Enfield and no notice period
or penalties if we are not able to proceed as planned.
